Mi madre es como la real academia de la lengua pero en versión escoba. Ha estado 4 días de visita en mi casa y ha sacado mierda y polvo de donde yo jamás hubiese imaginado.
Parece ser que no todas las escobas son iguales, porque "las de pelo blando dejan pelusa". También resulta que las alfombras hay que sacarlas al balcón y sacudirlas, de vez en cuando, más que nada para que los ácaros que en ella viven, puedan tomar un poco el sol, que también tienen derechos.
He descubierto que la rejilla de los fogones de la cocina no es negra, sino plateada.
Me ha llenado además la casa de pastillas olorosas, en la taza del water, en la percha de la ropa... ahora mi vestidor huele a polillas.
Este fin de semana eran las fiestas de Poble Nou, así que ha habido movimiento por el barrio. Las fiestas catalanas tienen cosas peculiares.
Aquí se bailan sardanas, que es una cosa que desde fuera se ve bastante ridícula pero que debe de ser muy difícil. Se ponen todos como al corro de la patata a mover los pies a lo chiquito de la calzada ... "jar, no puedo, no puedo" ... pero dados de la mano. Mientras suena una especie de trompetilla con musiquilla muy catalana. En un momento del baile la cosa se acelera, levantan todos los brazos y se ponen a dar saltitos como cuando estás caminando por las dunas de maspalomas y te quema la arena.
Otra cosa curiosa aquí es el gustillo por aquello de la pólvora. Aquí hay más petardeo por metro cuadrado que en Tómbola, que ya es decir. Montaron justo debajo de mi casa un espectáculo a lo "Fura des baus" muy chulo, sobre todo si tienes en cuenta que los montan los cuatro chavales de la peña del barrio. Tiraban bengalas, tracas, y luego salían unos dragones de cartón piedra. El dragón se pone en medio de la multitud y aparece un tipo con una antorcha y enciende al dragón que empieza a echar chispas por la boca y los costados y se dedica a putear a la gente. El objetivo del juego es buscar al que tiene el jersey de tela altamente inflamable.
Otra cosa que hacen los catalanes en sus fiestas es lo de los "castellers" que es bastante impresionante y cosa de mucha tensión. Sobre todo cuando ves al pivito de 6 años escalando como un mono por la torre aquella, que se tambalea y saludando con la mano. No he visto ninguna de esas torres caer pero supongo que si se derrumban la leche tiene que ser de impresión (sobre todo para el niño-mono que saluda con la mano).
Los que somos bajitos como yo podemos tomar nota de esta centenaria técnica para conciertos multitudinarios y demás.
El día está lluvioso y me voy a ir a comer con mi madre por ahí, que ya que invita hay que aprovechar.
